Happy New Year everyone!
I can't believe we are half way through January already and with so many projects to plan out for 2012, time seems more and more precious. We at RGL, (Lindsay & I) have been discussing what possible direction(s) to go this year, with whom and when...talks are still ongoing but for now I think we both agree to keep the RGL site up as a continued resource for natural building, local sustainable business and low imact living. As for the meetups, I would recommend utilizing the lovely Romeo ladies and their exceptional organization of Rochester Green Drinks.  I do plan on hosting at least one or two natural building workshops this year and will be announcing them next month....im thinking cob oven, cordwood outhouse and/or cordwood guesthouse. If you have any ideas or think you would like to host a natural building event please contacts us! I do plan to keep adding people to the directory and try to keep up with local eco-related events on our calendar. More information will be posted over the next few weeks. Thank you all for your interest, support and knowledge over the past 5 years!Â
PS - Here is some new pics of the cordwood guesthouse; bed is finished and the fire keeps the place very toasty in the few 5 degree days we had here in WNY. Everything is holding up very nicely including the earthroof.Â

Cheers,Â
