December Green Living Meetup

E-mail Print
Hello all,

As you can see from the blogging happening on our Meetup site, our last event at Epiphergy was a HUGE success! We had 65 people come out in the rain to see Graham Fennie & his exciting new process of making ethanol from food scraps. If you missed the event check out their site - Epiphergy.

For this month's event we are again partnering with UGBN to host Green Drinks on Thursday, December 16th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Green Drinks is part of UGBN, Upstate Green Business Network their goal is to guide companies in establishing environmental policies and procedures to reduce company waste, conserve water, save energy and build a more sustainable workplace.

Sponsor: Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Monroe County
Our Mission is to provide research-based information and education programs to address local priority needs in the areas of 4-H Youth Development, Agriculture, Horticulture, and Nutrition, Food Safety & Health.

If you missed the last event the Green Drinks events are always a great way to catch up to all the going's on in the sustaianbility initiatives within Rochester & beyond. Hope to see you all there!

Cheers,

About Us

Our goal is to help lower the environmental impact of the homes and lives of those living in the greater Rochester area. To reach that goal we provide workshops in sustainability, promote local green events, provide a free local resource in sustainable information, and create connections to other green organizations throughout New York. We hope we will be the first stop on your journey to a deeper understanding of sustainability.
