About Us
Lindsay D'Ambrosia
Co-FounderLindsay has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute. Historic preservation is her main interest which she believes to be the best form of sustainable design. Sustainable design became an interest for Lindsay in college after taking a course named "sustainability" which developed into her thesis, Hybrid Farm: A Critic of the Global Food Economy. Her thesis investigated the disconnection between consumers and their food sources; the end result being a theoretical vertical farm in Brooklyn, images can be seen here (coming soon). As an outlet for her interest for the "green" and a sincere desire to educate the public in sustainable building and living practices she co-founded Rochester Green Living with Peter Turkow. Lindsay believes that small changes to day to day living can make a large impact on our ecological footprint. She hopes that RochesterGreenLiving.com will provide the tools to make those changes.
